Small Animal Services

Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services
Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.

Surgical Services
Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.

Anesthesia
We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

Internal medicine consults

We offer in-hospital referrals to an internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures and helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.

Radiology Services
Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.

Electrocardiography Services
We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

Dentistry
Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions, oral surgery and we now offer Non-Anesthetic dental cleanings.

Laboratory
Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Permanent Identification
We offer microchip identification.

Pharmacy
We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.

Individualized Flea Control Programs
We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Dietary Counseling
We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.

Boarding
We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Friday.

Bathing
Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available.

Boarding

Admission Policies and Procedures

Arrivals and Departures

Guests arrivals and departures are accepted Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Saturday and Sunday arrivals and departures may be scheduled with our weekend staff for a $20 fee paid in advance. This fee is non-refundable.

Deposits and Cancellations

We accept reservations in advance with no deposit required at the time of booking. During the holiday seasons we require a one-night deposit with a full refund if cancellations are made no later than 6pm two days prior to scheduled arrival.

Amenities

Your pet's stay with us will include:

  • In room dining twice daily
  • Three daily outings
  • Twice daily housekeeping
  • Nightly turn-down service
  • Bedtime Treat

 All accommodations are $20 per night.
Additional pet in same suite are $15 per night.

Vaccinations

We are committed to providing your pet with a safe and healthy environment. To do so, we require written verification of vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian upon arrival. The vaccination requirements below apply to any cat or dog visiting us.

Parasite Free Environment

We also offer discounted bath
prices for all our guests.

We are dedicated to keeping our guests flea and tick free. Any guest found to have external parasites upon arrival or during the duration of their stay will be treated immediately at the owner's expense.

 

Food

We recommend a consistent diet to maintain intestinal health and minimize digestive upset. If your pet is on a diet other than Purina E/N Formula we strongly urge you to bring the food that is part of your pet's regular diet.

Medications

We will administer oral medications provided by the owner for a fee of $2.50 per day. All medication must be in its original container with the prescribing physician's label indicating the name of the patient, name of the medication, and the dosage and frequency.  Please contact Guest Relations for pricing on special medical needs.

Emergencies

Should a problem arise in your absence, we will perform any necessary treatment to ensure your pet's good health.  We ask that you leave an emergency number where you will be staying or that of a friend or relative who would either be able to contact you or make a decision in your absence.  Related costs will be the responsibility of the pet's owner.

Admissions

We reserve the right to deny admittance to pets lacking proof of vaccinations and/or pet displaying signs of untreated or potentially contagious conditions.  We reserve the right to charge handling fees for excessively difficult or aggressive pets requiring additional staff and/or additional time in order that we may deliver proper care.

*For the safety and well being of all our guests, we only accept guests that have been spayed or neutered.
